Skip the insurance headache with immediate booking

Low iron can leave you exhausted, weak, foggy, and frustrated. Apotheosis Health offers medically supervised IV iron infusions without the insurance maze.
Iron infusions may be an option for people who cannot tolerate oral iron, have not improved with supplements, or need faster iron replacement.
Symptoms alone can’t diagnose iron deficiency. We review your history and labs to determine whether IV iron may be appropriate.
Every patient is medically reviewed before treatment. Recent labs are required to determine whether IV iron is appropriate.

Send us recent iron studies/CBC, or we can help arrange labs if needed.

We determine whether IV iron is appropriate and create your treatment plan.

Receive your infusion in our comfortable Bangor clinic with medical supervision.

Not necessarily. You can contact us directly and send recent labs for review. If another healthcare provider has already ordered IV iron, they can also send the order directly to us.
We generally need recent blood work showing your blood counts and iron levels. Our provider will review your results and let you know if anything additional is needed.
We often have much faster availability than traditional infusion centers. Scheduling depends on receiving the necessary labs or order and completing a medical review.
Our IV iron program is cash-pay. We can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
You do not have to receive the entire series with us. If you are waiting to get into another infusion center, we may be able to provide one or more doses in the meantime.
IV iron is administered under medical supervision. Reactions are uncommon but can occur, so patients are monitored during and after treatment.
Our typical treatment is 200 mg of iron sucrose infused over approximately 20 minutes, followed by 30 minutes of observation. During that time, our medical team monitors you for any reaction. Your exact dose and treatment schedule may vary based on your labs and provider’s order.
The 30-minute observation period matches iron sucrose prescribing guidance, which recommends monitoring during administration and for at least 30 minutes afterward.
