More room for context
A membership structure lets primary care focus on the conversation, the history behind it, and the decisions that follow.
Direct Primary Care · Bangor, Maine
Apotheosis uses a clear monthly membership to make room for a more direct, continuous primary-care relationship. The membership itself is not billed to insurance.

What DPC means here
Direct Primary Care is the structure behind the experience: members pay the practice directly for ongoing primary care, rather than having each membership visit billed to insurance.
A membership structure lets primary care focus on the conversation, the history behind it, and the decisions that follow.
A relationship that grows over time gives your care more context. The better we know you, the easier it is to understand what has changed, what matters, and what deserves attention.
Membership includes secure messaging with the practice for the questions and follow-up that happen outside a visit.
Included with membership
Ongoing primary care includes medical weight management and hormone and menopause care alongside wellness and chronic care.
How DPC works with insurance
Direct Primary Care membership does not replace comprehensive insurance coverage. Members may still use insurance for care outside Apotheosis when appropriate.
What primary care covers
Apotheosis is here for your everyday and ongoing primary care. When you need care outside the practice, such as a specialist, imaging, hospital care, or emergency care, your other coverage can still play an important role.
